Marta Maçarico was born in Lisbon in 1993.

Although born in the capital, she lived and grew up in a small village above the Tagus river, immersed in a very family and homely education. And it was in this house ( Portuguese, for sure! ), That breathed tradition and fell in love with all the beautiful things that pass from generation to generation.

Always dreamed of having a profession linked to the world of the arts and at the age of 17 took the first step in that direction, entered the António Arroio Artistic Secondary School, where she specialized in the jewelery sector.

But if Jewelery gave her all the freedom to create, a very important component was still missing: Marta was not Marta without being able to enhance the past, romanticize history, reinvent memory.

In 2012 she was accepted at the Ricardo Espírito Santo Silva Foundation, where she graduated in Conservation and Restoration, and learned to bring the past back to the present. The foundations were laid for the creation of her author's brand, which was born in 2019 and joins its two passions - Jewelery and Conservation and Restoration.

Marta Maçarico is dedicated to the creation of pieces that tell stories and preserve what is most important in our culture: Heritage.

Inspired by her grandmother, everything she creates is feminine, symbolic and timeless.
